Visual Diary: Art Fair PH 2018
Art Fair PH 2018 was a solitary experience. Since everyone was busy, this year I took only a day to explore the fair all by myself. While it gave me all the time to explore whatever I want, I felt kind of lonely. Appreciating art is humorous, fun, and fulfilling when you have a friend (or more) to join you. And hey, who's going to take my photos for my SNS?
There were a lot of changes done with this year's Art Fair, apart from my loneliness. People arrived by batches through 3-hour time slots: 10:00 AM - 1:30 PM, 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM, and 5:30 PM - 9:oo PM. This was to control the volume of people within the venue, after last year's notice of the venue reaching maximum capacity. Apart from this, backpacks weren't allowed too–the volume might bump into a fragile sculpture and knock it down, hence the new policy. All the new rules were explained in a manual that accompanied the wrist band pass.
For now, I'll let the photos do the talking. Enjoy the set of photos I took from the fair. Let me know what your favorite artwork is!
